Liana Evans of KeyRelevance interviewed Greg Jarboe of SEO-PR at the Search Engine Strategies Conference & Expo in San Jose, California.
It turns out that Greg was assigned to the Video Optimization Panel where he explained that video search engines became popular because they are video sharing websites. Therefore, sharing video on multiple websites will get them viewed by many more people than spending time search engine optimizing them and so on.
As a matter of fact and according to Greg, sharing videos get seven times more traffic than otherwise. That can be best accomplished by using the “related videos” option because people, viewers, tend to watch videos in groups. Greg says that it’s like potato chips, “You can’t have just one.”
One good strategy to keep in mind is embedding videos within the content of blogs which first of all gets them viewed more often and then it also builds business relationships that could ultimately lead to mutual benefits.
