<description>@Noah has a point, article length is the main factor when comes about keywords density. In a 250 words article, mentioning a phrase or a keyword 4-5 times can look very spammy but in a 600 words article would probably seem natural.

<description>I don&#039;t know that overusing your keywords is such a huge deal these days. I mean, obviously keyword stuffers are going to see a negative benefit, but if you happen to mention it twice, or ever 3 times in a lengthy article because it makes sense to mention it, I don&#039;t think you&#039;ll see any negatives. In fact, I bet you&#039;ll see some improvements. :)

		<description>Hello Brian,

Generally, the keyword density would fall roughly around 5-6% if you write naturally.

I always check on textalyzer.net before I publish. If the percentage seems a little too high, I simply change the keyword to a pronoun, for instance, &quot;it&quot;.

		<description>Brad,

Generally speaking yes, if you write for readers and not for search engines this becomes less of a problem. Just know you do not want to use a phrase too often or you can burn your own ranking.

Of course you also want to make sure to use it to a degree or you simply can not rank for it.

Bottom line: write for readers, add target phrases to the title and possibly the metadescription.

<description>Thanks for the reply Brian, but I don&#039;t think I was clear enough in my question.. I understand that I should target a single specific keyword phrase for each page on my site. But should I use the same rules described above for EVERY page on my site or JUST the homepage?

    * Once in the title tag
    * Once in your home page article

Shouldn&#039;t my keyword phrase be found more than this on individual pages?</description>

		<description>Hi Brad,

Glad your liking the content here on Net Marketing Course.net
Each and every page of your site should really target a certain keyword phrase. I personally spend a bit more time on my sites homepage tags (title meta description) simply because they get more visibility on the search engines.

That being said all my pages always have a solid meta description and each page targets a phrase.

<description>Hi Brian, thanks for all the great info on your site(s). I&#039;ve been following your videos for a while now and I&#039;ve really learned quite a bit. A quick question on this tip though..

Is the SEO advice above meant for every page on your site or just the homepage?

Thanks!
