Jordan Belfort who is a motivational speaker presented at the Fly VAustralia Conference which was hosted by Australia’s newest airline, spoke about raising his standards or rather the raising his broker monetary standards.
The new standards Jordan spoke about were making a quarter of a million dollars the first years, half a million dollars the second year and a million or more dollars the third year. Otherwise he would consider it to be a failure worth ridiculing.
The fact of the matter is that those standards are merely psychological impacts rather than actual physical standards which are set in stone. And psychologically, these have a tremendous impact on audiences as they raise their standards from what they thought they needed for their own lives.
Jordan claims that people usually meet their “musts” but only rarely their “shoulds” which are at much higher levels. So, he claims that the “shoulds” should be “exchanged with the “musts.”
