Free Gift: Clickbank Monetizer Data, Top Clickbank Affiliate Tactics
What does it take to make sales as a top clickbank affiliate and is is really possible to make lots of money with clickbank or other affiliate networks?
These are questions I get all the time, my answer always starts off with * YES * it is very possible to make great money online as an affiliate. However, it does take work, and more than just work … it takes working smart, especially in today’s highly competitive affiliate environment. I have been striving to work smart now for about eight years and with that each day get’s a bit easier.
Today I want to share with you some ideas about working smart as well as a free download to help you do just that. This post is fairly long, you may want to simply download the clickbank data speedsheet here.
So How Can YOU Begin To Work Smarter as an Affiliate Marketer?
Over the years it has become quite apparent that not all niche markets are created equal (in terms of possible earnings). I have spent countless hours working on some websites that have generated no more than a couple hundred bucks over the course of several months. I have also been able to crank out websites in a matter of days that go on to earn as much as $200 or three hundreds bucks in one day.
Right now as I type this I am thinking about one mini site that has probably earned over $1500, I spent a total of two days working on the site and the affiliate commission continue to pour in. In the last three days the site has earned $400 or $500 alone, with that I want to talk about nich marketing, keyword selection and just how important these aspects are to successful marketing online.
Over the years I have made it my business to understand what sells online, how to drive traffic and ultimately how to make money as an affiliate. My approach is fairly common. Find a keyword phrase that I believe will generate sales for me and then create a website around that phrase with hopes of ranking high in the search engines. Then I * hope * the sales come in, that was several years ago however.
Today the game has changed.
Now I only work in markets where I can spot other affiliates earning money, simple as that. If the niche is competitive I find a loop hole and work my way in. Since I am working in a market where plenty of other affiliates are cashing in I can rest assured that my time is well spent. No longer do I have to worry about wasting my time with a site that does not have the potential to make me lots of money.
Profits Are Listed Plain as Day in Statistics & Analytics
What the heck does that mean?
The definition of Analytic is as follows:
Computer-based tools that evaluate cash flows under a variety of assumptions and scenarios.
Bottom line is that today affiliate and internet marketers have a vast amount of data that is available that can help determine if a niche will be profitable prior to entry.
Let’s take Clickbank for instance …
Some may say that Clickbank does not offer a lot of metrics, statistics or analytics to really help affiliates make smart choices when it comes to choosing just what products they promote as an affiliate. However, after compiling data from hundreds of different clickbank vendors into an excel spreadsheet that offers the ability to sort and filter in numerous ways it become quite apparent where the money is being made.

Working with my assistant I compiled this data in an effort to be able to easily identify which Clickbank niches were worth entering. Were now taking these profitable niches and moving forward with our data mining with the power of Google Cash Detective.
Google Cash Detective (GCD) – The Research Tool of 2010
About two years ago new pay per click spy tools began to appear on the market, the concept was fairly simple.
Spy on other pay per click marketers using ppc search engines such as Google AdWords, the idea is that you find a successful ppc affiliate that has been bidding on particular keyword over a length of time. The longer the keyword advertisement has has been running indicates a higher probability that the keyword is profitable for that given affiliate.
These tools are primarily created for those that use ppc to drive traffic, however I see these tools as new research tools to take advantage of. Over the last year I have been keeping my eyes out for just these types of tools, however none of them seamed up to par. Often times these tools require you to enter in keywords which are then tracked over time. This requires planning and foresight, as a niche marketer I need this data now.
Google Cash Detective is the first tool to actually track more than 2.5 million keywords across hundreds of different niches. The possibilities are staggering for those willing to dive in mine that data, and that is just what were doing. Right now I have compiled more than 423 keywords that have been categorized * Highly Profitable * I am now in the process of using this data to create a series of reports I am calling.
Proven Profitable Reports
These reports will each feature five separate niche markets with each niche offering between five and ten (possibly more depending on the data) keyword phrases that are highly profitable keyword phrases.
Each report will only be given out to a select number of people and then will not be used again. This protects the integrate of the keywords them self and ultimately those that gain access to these reports.

Looking for niches others are already profiting in seems a good idea. Another good way of finding good niches a friend of mine uses is to set up lots of eBay affiliate stores in different niches. He can test lots of different areas and see which may be worth further exploration without spending lots of time on niches which may give no return.

Thanks for the download Brian, much appreciated. Many clickbank webmasters, don’t generally share things like this.

Thanks for sharing information.
Thanks for the data. I’m not sure exactly how you compiled it – the “Number Prod” column seems to be off on a number of niches (only one Golf Swing book? There are more: http://golf-babes.net/product-comparison-page/the-swing), but nevertheless it’s a great overview of the more profitable Clickbank niches.

Hey Friend,
It is very possible we missed a few products in the excel spreadsheet. The goal was to create a snap shot of the various niche markets that are the most lucrative and I think we were able to accomplish that.

Mick.
Mick,
Glad you like my Ritual, I am very proud of it.

I think the key thing is choosing the best products to promote.
A lot of products on the smaller affiliate networks you wouldn’t buy yourself or recommend to friends, ever.
I’ve been reading about Clickbank a bit and I was wondering what you think about the new regulations being enforced. I had an old account with CB and noticed that they had a new TOS to agree to before signing in.
