In his explanation, Frank uses an actual sales letter that he emailed to 1,800 people shortly after his ordeal with the Federal Trade Commission as an example.
Frank mentions how Direct Mail made his letter extremely profitable because it alerted many customers to his product’s existence. He says how people “selling from their heels” are often too shy and insecure to effectively get their product out there.
Frank emphasizes how you must be direct, commanding, and make bold claims (that are true) in your sales letters in order to communicate effectively with a customer. A timid, lackluster seller will inevitably produce a sales letter of the same quality, so it is key to make your letters bold and direct.
