Cheapest Way To Get Into Online Video
A reader of netmarketingcourse.net recently commented on the videos here at the site. I wanted to actually take the comment and make it into it’s own post here, video is important these days and can help sites rank fast in search engines like Google, Yahoo and Msn. Further more video makes it much easier for your visitors to connect to your site, I have found that my sites that utilize online videos are much sticker (visitors are more likely to *stick* around, visit more pages) and the return rate is much higher as well.
Here is Brett’s question about online video and getting started.
Brian,
I found you on Players With Money. Great video - I’m looking at a ‘cheap way’ to do video too… just wondering, did you film this with the Flip Camera, and if you did, how are you setting it up - mini-tripod on the desk, or on your monitor? Do you need additional lighting, or relying on external lighting from a window?
Thanks - keep up the great video content!
-Brett
My Video Response

Hey Brian,
You always communicate is a way that gives good information. I appreciate your information on cameras and lighting for doing video. No question about it, web 2.0 and video editing go hand in hand with online marketing today.
I guess one of my questions would be how to you monetize your videos so that information leads to a point of sale.
I really need to get my butt moving with regards to video. I have one of those logitech webcams. That will have to do for now. All I need is some lighting like you got at your place.
Enjoyed the video Brians. Thanks.
Mark
Brian, your a up and coming web 2.0 guru. All you need is a home studio with a background white screen like Eban Pegan at his house.
Love the fireplace in the background. Thanks for the advice on lighting. Perhaps I need to go outside in my backyard to get the proper lighting for now.
I appreciate how you take internet marketing as a professional. Great work, and nice blog.
Hey Mark,
I do not do any of that fancy blue screen stuff, I make simple videos and focus on the marketing. Honestly I just do not have the time to get too fancy with various features, blue or green screens … ect.

I agree with what you say about sound. Bad sound quality is to my mind harder to cope with than bad picture quality.
Brian,
Thanks for the great info on videos.

Hi Cynthia,
Glad you found the video informative, I stoped by your site and see that your intrested in orchids. My father is into orchids big time, actually has an “orchid room” in his house. Amazing plants indeed.
