SeoPressFormula Is Not About
Now all of the topics listed above are covered within the course, however the core materials focus on learning to drive free traffic. Seo Press Formula is about learning how to create search engine friendly sites that drive free search traffic and how you can use the free web publishing platform wordpress to get that job done.
If time allows I will also be shooting videos to upload to youtube.com.
This way I can “talk you through” the process each step of the way. I
Am confident many of you will come away from this challenge with
a new understanding for basic seo and driving traffic. However, it
will be very important for you to follow along with my guidance, tactics
and strategies. If you alter my methods then you will not truly be
applying my Seo Press methods but your own variation.
A variation that to this point has not been tested out. Stick with what has
worked for me time and time again and further more DO NOT
move ahead of course curriculum. If you do you will be working
blindly and chances are great you will make mistakes along the way
that will affect your rankings online.

Will Have Great Effect On Just How Well You Do
Your going to need to stay focused on Seo Press, watch all the videos
as much as you can stomach. Watch each video no less than
at least twice, three times even better.
Why so much, depth of information there is a ton of info in each
video in the course. Each time you watch the video you will find a new
tip or idea and ultimately you will better understand the process.
Do not, go buy new IM courses that promise quick bucks online
or the latest and greatest IM tactic ever revealed. Instead continue
to focus on this process until you know it cold.
If you do that in several months you will be able to launch sites
quickly and easily that drive targeted traffic day in and day out …
without spending any of your money on ppc.
So how are we doing with the last challenge all?
I hope your all researching blog type sites that are linking
out and adding valuable comments to them.
I actually have this one site that targets a niche that is
very competitive online (7 million results in google). The site
was launched last August and is now second on Google only
to be beaten out by wikipedia << Bj spelling alert. Also note
that Google has a page listed in the top ten, (that I beat out).
More intresting stuff: The site that are all around me have 2 to
3 times the pagerank as well and most of them have been online
for three to four years (atleast).

Just thought I would share with you 
So why is my site that is only one year out beating pr 6 and 7?
1) The domain is optimised for my target term.
2) Unique content
3) Two types of links (and this is where we are right now with the challenge)
As we move forward with our 60 day challenge we need to make
sure we have what I call my “anchor” links. As mentioned in assignment
6 we do not need a lot of these (of course the more the better)
anchor type links.
You goal is to establish three or more of these types of links
inbound links to your site. I have found one of the best ways to get these
types of links is by using my Lets Get Blogged Rolled technique.
So as we move on you should continue to add fresh content to your site
(anywhere from one to ten pages a week) while you also target
a handful of sites to get blogrolled on.
Make sure your targeting atleast five quality sites to get blogrolled on as
not all of the webmaster or bloggers will add your link. This is why we
target say five or six of these types of sites. If you follow my guidelines
and do not ask for the link for say a month or so you will get your
anchor link from atleast one or two sites if not more.
Over the next two to three weeks were going to focus on getting our
links as we continue to add content. I want to point out that it is important
that you continue to add content right now. It will help you to get the links,
when folks stop by your site they will see an active blog / site with fresh
unqiue content…

If you have followed along to this point then you have launched a website using unique content, which will greatly enhance your sites chances for ranking well in the search engines such as Msn, Yahoo and the powerhouse that is Google. One of the core fundamentals of Seo Press is that we do as much as possible to create the most search engine friendly content and we do it according to the Google Webmaster Guidelines.
Many seo experts would agree that to this point we have focused on what is often called “on page factors” meaning that we have only worked on our site and have not focused any energies to the promotion of our site. Because our sites are very search friendly a few solid inbound links from other “trusted” sites within our niche will go a far way in helping our site to rank very well.
Early in the process of creating our sites we focus on high quality inbound links from trusted sources, later when we move on (to other web projects) we can continue to add additional links that are much easier to come by. However the real ranking power comes from a few high quality sites, so we will now focus on gaining these types of links over the next few weeks.

Over the coming days and weeks your assignment is to be adding content to your site(s). This can often be difficult for many people as they are simply not comfortable with writing, or can not be bothered. The benefits of creating unique content are very powerful as I have illustrated before and can either make or break a site.
During the summer of 2008 while putting together the SeoPressFormula course I was also in the process of launching a website targeting Halloween sales. I followed the SeoPressFormula exactly as I have guided you.
As of today’s writing (August 4, 2008) here are my results to this point:
As you can see by the image on the above I launched the site on the last day of May and traffic began to flow a day or two later.
I launched the site with unique content on the homepage and outbound links per the course. During the month of June with about 5 or 6 pages online the site averaged about 25 – 35 visitors a day. I also noticed the site ranked well for a number of keywords phrases that I had targeted.
So far so good, the site (like many others) was off to a solid start, and looked promising for Halloween sales a few months later in the fall.
Three to Four Weeks Later I Began Adding Additional Site Content:
As you can see by the image above which was taken inside of “cpanel, awstats” as I added additional content to the site Google indexed it and my site traffic went up
At the time of this blog post the site has about 45 pages online and Google has indexed about 35 of these pages (however this number has been bouncing around).
In the last four days or so the site has already made several sales which is excellent for this time of year when conversions for Halloween sales are lower than they are in September and October. This is 100% SeoPressFormula at work. Nothing fancy, nothing sneaky… just solid content that is optimized both for my visitors and for the search engines.
The image to the left shows that in the first three days of August the site has already had over 600 unique visitors. Anyone can create solid ranking sites with this system. I hope you find this post inspirational as you continue to add content to your sites.
Understand that it takes time to learn the various aspects of wordpress, seo and affiliate marketing. However over time you will become more comfortable with the various aspects.

Just a friendly reminder to stay on track and to stay focused!
Over the next week to ten days you should start to add quality content per the Seo Press Formula course to your website. Make sure to add the content using the wordpress “posts” section rather than pages, posts get added to your rss feed which will be beneficial at a later date.
While the video starts off by saying “I am not going to be giving you lots of details” I would like to clarify that I simply did not have the time with the youtube.com video to touch on every aspect of this part of the challenge. If you have questions about how you should be adding your content feel free to post those questions below in the comments section.
Simply follow these guidelines, created content for your sites based on what people are search for. Make sure to use the exact search phrase within the title of your “post” and also in the meta description. You can add content based on product and manufacture names within your niche, LSI terms or related terms based around your sites theme.
Each post you add should be at least 350 words in length, however I would advise to shoot for 500 to 600 words in length. You can also add adsense to your site at this time as well as affiliate links (just make sure the links are cloaked).

Ranking on Google is not complicated, provide quality content that helps people. Make sure your using the types of words you want to rank for in your title and meta description tags. Get a few inbound link.

Before we move on to assignment five I wanted to post some information about your sites title or “html title tag”. If you have been following along to this point with the Seo Press Formula ebook and course videos you will have choose a keyword rich domain name, which will also be in part your sites name. Since this keyword phrase is considered your “target” phrase it is easy to use the phrase too often which can have a back lash effect with Google.
Only use your domains keyword phrase:
As mentioned above if you do overuse your domains keyword phrase Google will not take kindly to your site. Remember, you already have the term in your domain name, and your title. Add it once in the content of your homepage and that is it. When your installing the plugins like All In One Seo and adding a meta description I would not use your exact keyword phrase, it would be just too much. Below I have added an example of how you might construct your homepage title tag as well as the meta description for your index or homepage.
Example – Our Target Keyword Phrase Will Be:
Cheap Fishing Reels
Ok our domain is: cheapfishingreels.org (example)
Our title might be something like:
Buy Cheap Fishing Reels, Zebco, Penn & Fly Fishing Rods Reel
The meta description might say something like:
CheapFishingRods.org for discount penn, zebco,
and daiwa rods online. Cheap prices including antique
rods and reels.
Then your article should NOT have your target keyword phrase listed more than say once or twice. Write your sites content for a human, however know your need to please google as well.
Think a natural written article for people, not search engines – add your main keyword phrase in your sites content a few times and that is all.

SeoPress Challenge #4) Complete Wordpress Install, Activate All Plugins, Make Changes As Need
Welcome to day 7 of your affiliate challenge, over the next week your goal will be to further familiarize yourself with the course content and to full tweak and optimize your wordpress installation before moving forward. If you have not watched all the core wordpress tutorial videos you will want to do that now. Furthermore you will have one week to make all the changes to your wordpress installation for your first site, this includes uploading the recommended plugins, activating each plugin and tweaking your wordpress options. I have included a detailed list below. Before we move on however ….I recommend you print off the individual blog posts here on netmarketing course.

I buy a lot of ebooks and courses and I always print of the manuals and reports. Especially when I am learning, this way I can put the printed materials right in front of my face and follow along.
I also read these types of reports about twice in a row until I have the concept down cold. I do this even if much of the information is already familiar to me, it really helps me along though. I can use the printed pages and make lists, highlight important parts and what not.
I am finding that many of the Players have lots of questions and what were doing through the process of launching wordpress and using the seo tactics taught through the course.
I would advise you start a three ring binder, label it:
Seo Press – 60 Day Challenge
And print off all the blog posts contained within this category of this site.
Print off each individual post and add it to your binder. This way you can check off to make sure your following along and your not forgetting anything.

Furthermore, Before Moving On Next Week When We Start To Add Content
Make sure your sites homepage has a 500 to 600 word article (must be unique content not found elsewhere online) that you wrote yourself or paid someone to write. Do not use PLR content or content already found online, this is key to your sites future success, you may also want to link out to other high ranking sites within your sites niche in the lower third of your homepage content. This will help to further build trust with your site and Google.

Video # 3) Seo Press Affiliate Payload Challenge –
Add Only Unique Helpful Content Not Found Elsewhere Online
It is important to understand that Google’s number one priority when ranking websites is to provide helpful resources online for those that use their search engine. I can not stress enough just how important it is to use content not available online when creating your sites.
As per the video above can you imagine how difficult it would be if google did not filter out sites with duplicate content? You could very well end up finding the same darn content over and over again when trying to research a subject online. Not very helpful at all for sure, and if you were not able to find helpful results when searching Google you would probably NOT continue to use the Google search engine. If this were to happen Google’s business model would fail and they would go out of business.
This is why Google has such as hard stance on dup content and why you MUST add something of value, something that is unique and something that is not found else where online.

Video # 2) Seo Press Affiliate Payload Challenge (Adsense & Launching Your First Site)
Assignment number one for the Seo Press Challenge was to use the various keyword tools that I have outlined in course video #1, the goal was to identify twenty or so possible niche markets that you could create a site on. By using a bunch of free keyword tools you were able to get a better idea of each niche from daily search traffic, amount of advertisers paying for traffic via Adwords as well as identifying just how competitive each niche is.
Before moving on I wanted to touch based on monetizing a site using Adsense, especially when targeting what I call “gadget freaks”. The video above provides all the details you will need in regards to Adsense and monetization. With this in mind you should now choose your top niches and reserver those for later.
Pick the one niche your most passionate about and register a domain name based on the target keyword phrase.
Make sure to use one of the following domain extensions.
Moving On To Assignment #2) Installing Wordpress & Site Launch
Your next step after registering your domain name will be to launch your site via wordpress and perform the following. You need to finish all the things listed below when you first launch your wordpress site. If you not sure you can get all this done then save it for another day when you can set aside four or five hours.
If your comfortable with wordpress this will take you a couple of hours to complete.
When your finished with these tasks you can change the setting according to the Seo Press Formula videos. Setting such as permalinks, reading, writing, activating plugins, ect …
However I can not stress enough, do not move past the steps listed above.

Because the goal is to establish trust with Google, when the google bot comes and visits your site your after a really good first impression. You never have a second chance at a solid first impression, so it is important to complete what is listed here.

Welcome to video number one of the SeoPressFormula.com 60 Day Affiliate Payload Challenge. It is my goal to provide tutorial instruction for you to use in conjunction with the screen capture videos and ebook portion of my course (SeoPressFormula.com). It is important to note that this system is based on creating search friendly sites that are focused and themed around commercial products and services online.
This course is more so about the “Seo”, rather than “Press” (search engine optimization focus rather than wordpress focus). Wordpress is simply the publishing platform that we use to create the sites. The true power of this system comes when using the tactics and strategies that are taught in chapters 3 through 9.
During the next several days your assignment is to research possible niche markets to enter. Watch course video #1 to get an idea of how you should use all the various free search tools to get in-depth data and information about each niche your thinking of entering. Below I have posted links to the various free search tools I use online. By checking various search terms online at all of the sites below you can get an idea how much traffic each niche will generate on a daily basis, how many Google advisers are paying for traffic (Adwords) and you can also get an idea for just how many sites are competing for the term you may create a site on.
Free Niche Marketing Keyword Tools:
Spend the next several days researching niches online, start out with at least twenty niches which you will then reduce down to your top thee niches. Later you will choose one or possible two of these niches and you will register a domain name based on your primary target term.
