If you are a fully developed affiliate marketer, then you are probably aware of all the Adwords tips and tricks.  You already know the competitive spirit behind every Adwords creation.  If you are working in a highly competitive market or industry that has high pay outs for affiliates then you may have already become a victim to the bidding wars and high costs of staying at the top of the search result’s pages in Google.  Although staying at the top is important, there are ways to lower costs and stay out of the constant struggle to maintain a high readership for your Adwords.

First, although Google Adwords is probably the number one pay per click marketing scheme that affiliates use, you can lower costs by driving traffic through other web sites.  Although other web sites might not have the higher amounts of traffic that Google has, many web sites target specific readers and therefore lower your cost by having ads on an already targeted market.  You will still need to create compelling ads, but using hosted web sites for your pay per click advertisements can leave the expensive techniques to the web site owners instead of playing high cost bidding wars yourself.

Although pay per click advertising can be a great way to develop traffic, it is also costly.  You can even consider doing different types of deals including monthly costs to your marketing budget where web sites display your ad for a certain amount of time instead of paying for every click.  You may pay a lot out at first, but it might be a better investment overall.  It will still keep traffic flowing to your site, and you can already have a set budget paid out without trying to play price wars with other affiliates.
